One of the best TV shows I’ve seen in a long, long time (powered through the seven currently-aired episodes in four days). A fantastic portrayal of the people/spirit of New Orleans and the frustration/corruption after Katrina. Someone just go ahead and give John Goodman the Emmy.
If you like or are interested in New Orleans, or just an incredibly well-crafted ensemble drama, check the show out. I challenge you to make it through a single episode without at least tapping your toes to the amazing music (often from legendary New Orleans musicians playing themselves).
